Simon has extensive legal and commercial experience as a solicitor, having worked for several leading UK and international law firms and, more recently, in-house in both the public and private sectors. He has advised numerous local and central government bodies, contractors and funding institutions on a variety of Private Finance Initiative (PFI) and Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects across a range of sectors, including education, health, defence, waste-to-energy, local government and serviced accommodation.
At SCAPE, he is responsible for managing the legal and governance arrangements for SCAPE, including advising on all aspects of contracts, acting as Company Secretary for SCAPE and its subsidiaries and ensuring regulatory compliance with new systems and processes.
In his spare time, Simon is a keen squash and tennis player and also describes himself as a “fair weather” cyclist.
