Social value is not just about compliance. For us, it is integral to our approach. 

As a public sector organisation, we believe we have a responsibility to take a leadership role in the development of social value outcomes.

That's why we are proud to be a founding member of the National Social Value Taskforce and have fully adopted the National TOMs (Themes, Outcomes, Measures) in partnership with the Social Value Portal. 

So, to further enhance our core performance management approach - which includes the measurement of time, cost and quality, minimum standards of local spend, SME engagement, training and apprenticeships - our Social Value Policy embeds a vastly expanded array of TOMs throughout our organisation.  

This policy clearly sets out how social value will be embedded and effectively measured throughout our procurement activities, employee management practices and suite of services. 

Our approach to social value capture ensures that our delivery partners and their supply chains will prioritise social value outcomes as essential to the success of your projects.
