Supporting the growth of the North East by helping the public sector deliver efficiency, quality and social value.
Please select your region:
The North East is a diverse region, encompassing the core cities of Sheffield, Leeds and Newcastle, and covering large areas of countryside including tourist attractions such as the Yorkshire Moors, Dales, and Wolds. Major investment initiatives are commencing around HS2 and the TransPennine link to radially improve communication links within the region which will connect people and foster growth.
The public sector is under pressure to work efficiently, attract investment and deliver the projects the region needs. At Scape, we're here to help, with fast, fully performance managed construction frameworks in the North East that make the best use of your resources – with local delivery at the heart of our approach.
By 2020, Tyneside and Teeside need 50,000 new homes – a regional trend that makes fast, economical housebuilding a priority. We are currently delivering a housebuilding programme in Doncaster totalling over 300 homes across 14 sites, as well as working with other local authorities across the region to support their housing requirements. Thanks to our education expertise, we are also creating and extending schools, addressing a shortfall in pupil places and providing affordable solutions.
In the blue light sector, we've delivered new custody suites and police headquarters region-wide. We’ve also delivered the National College for High Speed Rail in Doncaster, and Manhattan Gate Bridge in Middlesborough. In the higher and further education (HEFE) sector, Scape are working with clients including Teeside University, Sheffield Hallam University and Durham University to support their estate priorities.
In every case, we've added social value by using local supply chains and supporting a variety of community initiatives.
