Willmott Dixon

Willmott Dixon is a privately-owned contracting, residential development and property support company. The company vision is to build on its history and reputation by undertaking activities in a sustainable and responsible manner; this was underlined by being the only company in construction to win a Queen's Award for Enterprise for sustainable development in 2014.

Core beliefs that support everything the company does:

  • Ethical – its people and operations meet the highest standards of conduct
  • Sustainable - a carbon neutral business to support the environment we share
  • Excellence - culture, training and ethos is about making sure its people are the best in the industry
  • Contributing - to support society’s wellbeing, the company invests over £2 million a year in community related activity
  • Quality – a determination that its work is the highest standard available anywhere

In contracting, Willmott Dixon works with government, local authority and private sector clients, delivering capital projects in education, justice, commercial offices, retail, health and housing. Through innovations like Sunesis, Willmott Dixon’s standardised designs for education, leisure and the care sector saves clients up to 30% on building costs without compromising on quality. The completion of the largest ever development by Tesco, Woolwich Central, illustrates the range and scale of work delivered.

In development, Willmott Dixon’s financial and development know-how has made it the partner of choice for land-owners looking to develop property. This is highlighted by the agreement with Brentford FC to deliver a 20,000 seat stadium and 1,000 homes north of Kew Bridge. Willmott Dixon is also involved in 1,000-home estate renewals, such as Dee Park in Reading and Aberfeldy Village in Poplar, Brenley Park in Mitcham and Prime Place in Greenwich. Regen has two companies, Prime Place which develops homes for sale, and is also behind Willmott Dixon’s new company be:here that builds homes especially for private renters.

In property support, Willmott Dixon delivers planned, preventative and responsive care services to property, which includes maintaining 180,000 homes across the UK through its Partnerships brand. Their Transformational Change approach to getting the most from outsourcing is delivering real benefits for clients, while their Transforming Communities approach to social value and creating a legacy has seen thousands of people benefit from new skills and enhanced community facilities.

Willmott Dixon provides energy efficiency expertise and Green Deal services through its Energy Services brand, and are especially active on ECO with a number of partners.
